女もすなるブログといふものを、男もしてみむとてするなり。

I am writing this blog because I am a man and I thought I should try writing one too, as women also write blogs.

Yes, I was sarcastic. It’s meant to be a parody. I swapped sex (woman <-> man), and updated from diary to blog. The moral of the story is this author wrote the diary (meant to be published?? I have no idea) pretending woman so that he could write in Japanese, instead of Chinese. That way, he broke free and gained a new language to express his thoughts, emotions, etc. See, back then, an intellectual had to write in Chinese, much like an intellectual in the Western world had to write in Latin. A smart guy.

When I had discovered something exciting, I could tell my son. Not anymore. He is 14 years old, smarter than I, stronger than me, and rebellious. I used to be his hero, but not anymore. Who would listen to a boring old man’s stories? So, I decided to write them down in my blog. In other words, I am now ready to launch my blog after all these years.

30 years ago, I was not ready to launch my “homepage” like 阿部 寛 (actor).
25 years ago, I was not ready to launch my blog like Chikirin (blogger), or my メルマガ (“Mail Magazine”, email newsletter) like ホリエモン (entrepreneur).
20 years ago, I was not ready to launch my YouTube channel, like Beato or みの (both have experience and deep knowledge in the music industry).
10 years ago, I was not ready to launch my TikTok shorts.
There were WhatsApp, LINE, Signal, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Myspace, Second Life, mixi, and so forth. Sorry, I could not keep up with all of them.

Anyway, I am writing this blog in English because I am a Japanese and I thought I should try writing in non-Japanese language, so that I can broke free and gained a new language to express my thoughts, emotions, etc.
